Problem when administrating member security privilege

I'm having problem giving an additional member in my system security rights. I have turned to the application note on the following link, https://community.zipato.com/knowledge-base/article/administrate-member-security-privilege_1 .
The problem occurs when I'm about to save the new user security rights (section 3, bullet point 5 in the application note).
When clicking save I only get a fail message saying "emailReports: no contact with id xxxxx".
Any solution to this would be appreciated.
