Problems to connect Z-wave devices

Thank you for quick and good support yesterday regarding my 433MHz problem.
I also have another problem. When I go to “Add device” and select “Z-wave”, it comes up a timer that counts down from 60 sec (like it should). But when I press the “connect” button on my Z-wave device during this countdown, nothing happens. The timer just counts down and reports “Join not successful”. My Z-wave device is a “Z-wave ZXT-120 IR-extender”. This unit seems to work ok, because a LED blinks one time when I press the “connect” button. This is according to the manual for the ZXT-120 unit. The distance between the Zipabox and the ZXT-120 unit was approx. 1m. I have tried re-booting both units and also tried log out/in of the control senter. I have also tried to press the connect button several times during one countdown period. My firmware is 0.9.9992a (newest).

Hello Martin,
When Joining any Z-Wave device please first Reset them in your Add new device wizard and then Join them.
You just have to be persistent, get it as close as possible to your Zipabox, press the "PROG" button on top of your ZXT-120 and it should eventually work.
If you still have troubles with it open a ticket at support@zipato.com from your registered email account and we will look into it.

Resetting the Z-Wave device in "Add new device wizard" worked fine. I can now join my ZXT-120. Thank you for good and quick support :-)
