Need Answer

Hello, I am sorry for my english, I am french.

I have got some devices which works by ethernet. Actions (On / Off bulb, relays, etc...) can be control by http request, but if I put a button, how to tell to the zipabox to check my device by ethernet, without launch a rule which check every second my device for example ; it is not really clean, and not really reactive.

Can we push the zipabox in a local network (without pushingbox) to execute a rule and it will ask to my device to read avalue with xml format ??

Up !! Doesn't someone need to control Zipabox in a local area network ?? I know that it is a advanced feature, but this will add lot of possibilities for this box !

The Eedomus box have a new update which add the api local support :

  1. http://api.eedomus.com/set?action=periph.value&periph_id=XXXX&value=XXXX&api_user=XXXX&api_secret=XXXX

is the same as :

  1. http://192.168.0.10/api/set?action=periph.value&periph_id=XXXX&value=XXXX&api_user=XXXX&api_secret=XXXX

This is really better !!! If your server have a problem, or if we have a low speed connection, local api is faster and safer...

Is thomething like that is developping ?
