Qubino dimmer, 12V lamp and 12Vdc power supply.

Under Consideration

Qubino dimmer and most relays have option to use them also with 24Vdc as 230AC systems. Relays have 24V coils, so they don't work reliable below about 16V. But dimmers have fet driven output, and they seem work as low as 13,7V, which is still very perfect for 12V lamp. If you have power supply with adjustable output, these dimmers are option then with 12V bulbs or leds. Maximum current shall not exceed, so 24V allowed wattage should be about half at 12V. I just made new yard lights with two 12V/10W leds with direct 13,7V supply and it works fine.

FYI.

Will it also work at 12v?

Why did you test for specifically 13.7v?

Because 12V wasn't enough. 13,7V is lowest for quite reliable functioning. Better, if a bit more.
