Remove "add device" from app?
Need Answer
Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to disable the ability to add devices via the android app?
I dont want anyone (wife kids) to accidentally start trying to add devices or change the config

I believe it is only possible when they log into the app with their own details and are set up as users. So best to create a user account and use that on the Android app you are using.

That doesn't work either. Even a 'member' user set up with just 'alarm' can still add a new device :-(

hmm..... I don't think it can be disabled.........but I also hope they don't remove it, as I add a lot of devices using the app.. :-P

I don't want it permanently removed - i want to be able to decide if it is displayed or not. I don't want my kids to accidentally start trying to change the config on the app - once it is set up i want to be able to lock it down.

this is possible, and can be realized over the 'Tenant' feature where limited access is granted to the new user. Just tick the checkbox like it is shown in the attachment while adding a new user to the controller.
