rs485 modbus
Need Answer
Can i use modbus on rs485 ? (read ans write )
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
The (rather belated) answer is: yes. If you buy a Modbus-RTU(RS485)-to-Modbus-IP adapter, you can connect it to your router and it should work.
For each device, you need to open a support ticket and tell them about the registers needed.
For some reason, it seems that there is no drop-down box with a list of supported devices. Instead, support will tell you the name to write in the "name" box, and this identifies the device that they have previously added to the system. You add one device for each address/register.
I almost have mine working. I think/hope that support just need to modify one value for it to work.
