Hi all,

I want to make the following rule:

- Turn on Dimmer (Duwi 05439 Z-Wave Tussenstekker Dimmer) at 20.05 at 25%

- At 20:15 50%

- At 20:20 100%

- At 20:45 turn off (0%)

How do i make this rule? I already tried somethings but the dimmer doesn't seem to snap in de ruler (only with actions).

Thanks!

To accomplish this you need to create four rules with scheduler.

See example in the attachment for one of the rules.

Don't forget to synchronize your rules and box after you create rules.

Hello,

I would turn light on every day from 3:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for example.

What rule should I use?

I first programmed it but it does not work:

So I try that, it work but I find this strange logic:

The most logic to me is that but i can't save this rule :

What logic should we adopt ? Can we do this operation with only 1 rule and not 2 rule ?

Cordially

You can use only one rule but 15 minutes for wait is to long, I wouldn't suggest using more than 5 minutes in wait puzzle. You can do it with one rule with 15 min wait. It is just much easier to find out what turned off light at given time if you are using two rules.

For your example I would suggest two rules with scheduler like you did in Regle02.png

@Nenad

I'm using a delay off 1800 secs. Is this a problem? Is there another way to do this?

I'm using the following rule do delay the scheduler:

Ok, thanks for your reponse ;-)

Your rule is ok, you can use two schedulers but it is not necessary.

But I would suggest you to use groups. This rule is a typical example where groups come handy.

Ok, thanks!

I did try groups but they did not work at the time. I see that they are working now.
