Run a rule when arming alarm failes.
Need Answer
Would like to run a rule when Arming failes because of a zone is in wrong state.
This would make it possible to alert me when using keyfob about the failed zone.
Anyone know if this is possible?
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
So is this the requirement?
REQUIREMENT:
Allow an event to be captured and seen in the rules creator when attempting to use Quick Arm (e.g. via a keyfob) when one of the configured alarm zones is in the incorrect state. In these cases it will fail to arm.
I suggest that there needs to be an addition to the alarm partition configuration that allows the customer to decide on what to do.
either:
a) raise a second type of squark output
b) ignore and bypass the zone
I believe that the current Zipato offering does not allow you to capture this event when Quick Arming.

Should not be to hard....something like this.
When key fob button 1
Wait xx sec
If alarm=armed
Send notice to on
Else
If alarm=disarmed
If doorsensor= open
Send notification
Etc
