Samsung Multiroom
Under Consideration
Samsung has launced a series of speakers that compete with Sonos in terms of multiroom functionality. They call the series for "Shape". I have bought a soundbar from them and I plan to buy one of their other speakers (M3, M5 or M7) during spring.
Would it be possible to to integrate these with ZipaBox? Companies like Logitech have done it over WiFi (Harmony hub).

As you might have seen that SONOS (which is the major vendor for multi room solutions) is in progress to be supported s and not finished yet so i guess they will not start another one that soon.
As a start you could look if Samsung has an API available so you can use the HTTP commands within rules. I use the SONOS API now so maybe that's an option for now.

Doesn't seem to have released any details publicly yet. But guess it's just a matter of time. Thought Sonos already was supported? It's in the list when you add devices. :)

It's in the list, but not officially supported, but i can use it trough the API.
Samsung is a bit behind, product is from 2013 and after more than a year no API, shame on Samsung.
For me this was a reason to go for the widely supported SONOS
