I am really frustrated this morning.

If you (Zipato) update your server, or have problems you must inform us customers! As son as there is problems with any of your services, the people in charge have to start working with the problem and they have to get a email, sms or other notification. I have not seen any announcements of problems or updates of the server, ever. But I have seen lots of users complain.


Everything that affect peoples home automation affects peoples lives!


So pleas announce any disturbers on your servers.

The status of the thread have changed to known. That means someone have seen it but not answered it. I tried to cal Zipato 2 times but no one answer. Of course it is early in the morning but someone in charge should put the right people on the jobb.


Sebastian should get a sms as son as this happens.


What if Zipato hade soled 10000 boxes in USA an there are 10000 people with not working lights and heat. That can't happened. One thing is if your phone does not work but alarm, heat, fire warning and light is a bigg responsibility.


I will continue trie to get in contact with Sebastian.

I am not able to log on to the server the whole day. I live in Finland. What is going on??

The worst thing is that some from the staff hade time to publish info abut beta for Android user. But did not have time to clarify this server issue?


I was also offered to be part of the beta testing and was asked to send them my Apple ID. I did that and explained to Ivan how happy I was to be part of the beta testing. Then I got a Android invitation? Asked why but did not get an answer. This is not how you treat customers. If Zipato is open and honest and then there is no problem. But like this?

Hi,


i had no problems this Morning. Maybe your Internet Provider had an problem.....

I see you have a Macbook, so if you have, SSH to an Server outside from Sweden and try to ping my.zipato.com from there.

Tried with my phone to?

But now it works now.

And if my internet provider hade problems no other homepage would work, right?

I don't know how meny servers they have and what provider it is but maybe it is diferent from German and Swedish users.

Could not connect with any of my 3 apps. My Zipato, ImperiHome, Zipabox Remote. I have a PC to.

And if the problem was at my end, Zipato could have contacted me before they published the Announcement of the beta.

My thought is that if there is any problem, or update Zipato should inform there costumers. And if they do updates they must be done on the night or something.

I have a lot of problem with the synchronization, with the app and the web. This morning my lights outside was on, it should be off. In the mobile app I have to synchronize, update etc. to get it work.

Hi,


if they do it in the night, there is somewhere day :-D


Problem could be some Routers with high workload.

Every connection that is routed outside Sweden has to pass some Routing Points, so it could be that this point it broken or full, and the ISP has to switch to an other point.

Don't you think Zipato should be fast to answer this issue? if 6 hours have past there must be someone at Zipato that could have called Sebastian told him about the situation and then say something on the forum.


If this happens in someones home in USA there could be serious consequences if someones heat or alarm was compromised. Right?


What is most irritating is that I know that someone at Zipato must have seen this and could not send an email or answer on the forum?

Well,


I live in the Netherlands and don't have any problems with myzipato and the Android App. I have been using the box this morning (8:00 am), this afternoon (12:00-17:00). So Zipato does not have a problem, i think. Maybe an internet problem somplace else.

Maybe it was just Sweden or Scandinavia? But somethings official would be good!

Then Zipato have one place, and one place only, where they can keep us up to date with any service interruptions.

One thing that I don't understand is why was it not possible to control the box locally with the app?


The thing that I am most furious about was that I could not turn off lights and get the curtain upp?


I thought it was possible too run the app locally, but It could bin stress from my end.

It could work like this that if you don't get aces threw internet a message could pop saying: "connect lokal" Automatically


It is called home automation?
