A search in the knowledge base on "puzzle join" gives you :

I think that Join is explained pretty good there...look around here in the topics for more rule examples where join is being used.

So Join is an absolute must in case you want to achieve rule triggering upon state and ingone state changes later on.

Thanks !

Ok : JOIN - Locks the condition upon triggering state. For instance, if open

door triggers a rule, after 10 min you set an action. This will

prohibit the rule to start all over upon new trigger if door is

re-opened during 10 min..

So we have to put a join anywhere in the puzzle and we are sur that only one implementation of the rule will run at the same time ?

Yes that's it. But you don't need to put everywhere. Put it when it's a problem.

Personally I think the name "Join" is misleading. Maybe it should read "Lock Condition"?
