Siren still working if device is hidden?

Hi,
I have installed a Everspring Siren and it's works perfectly.
My question is if this device is still working when i set it to hidden. Once i have set the device as hidden i don't see it displayed as the device for Siren in my alarm settings (could be logical since i set it to hidden :) )
Reason why i want to hide it is because it shows under the Lights & Power section and it's easy to set it on by accident which gives me and my neighbors some unneeded noise :)

I tried to hide the siren, but then I cannot select it anymore in the "siren" selection of the alarm settings. It doesn't appear anymore ;(
