Some ideas for widgets' ergonomic.

(This is my own thoughts and maybe you already have better ideas)
- It would be usefull to allow us to switch the state of a dimmer by clicking on the bulb icon. It's boring to slide from 0 to 100 and vice versa. Sometimes, I just want to turn on or turn off the light, not to dim it. I noticed that, by reflex, I often click on this icon to try to do that, it seems a natural action.
- Likewise can you display the description (entered in the configuration of the device) when we move the mouse over the icon of the device, without clicking it ? I'm getting some identical devices and I am a little confused.

Normally they are trying to let us modify the name so it won't be ambiguous. But I like your ideas ;).
Or it could be nice to add the same ON/OFF as on the switch beside to the slider but may be your idea is simpler... I do not know

For the modification of the name, i'm waiting for that too. And you can always use the description field to display other information, like the reference and constructor of the device ( aeon smart illuminator, fibaro FGS221, ...) for example. It's always usefull to display informations like that. This feature can be more 'generic', by drawing a little info popup who would display description field, models and, why not, some important parameters like wakeup period or activation/desactivation of sensor's functionnality.
In my opinion, adding the switch beside the slider would (overload? not sur of the english word) too much the interface.
I don't know for the mobile app, which has a totally different interface. But with a little arrow on the right of the sensor's line, they can display more information on it. However, the mobile app is a little less confusing, because we will be allowed to sort by place/room... soon ;)

On/Off and level control are now available for toggling by clicking on device icon, and new device naming system will be out in a couple of days :)
