Status update

Hi

When you have problems with the servers (like there is now) you could have a status update on first page.

Like you have here (in green) about that the servers is updated: http://community.zipato.com/


There would be a very good thing for us to know whats going on, and the status of the cloud servers that we are dependent on for the functionality of our ZipaBox.


At the moment it is not possible to access my.zipabox.com

:-(


I understand that you are working hard now to fix the servers, but think that a status update would be very good to have!

Then we (the users) dont have to post a lot here and ask whats going on...


Communication and information to the users is key to sucess!

Add a permanent "Server Status" on every page under the menu bar (like the one on first page)


Have three different colors on the box.

GREEN - Everything okay.

YELLOW - Some problems may occur.

RED - Big problems


example: ZipaBox Server Status: GREEN - No known issues, Report a problem here.


example: ZipaBox Server Status: YELLOW - Ongoing server maintenance, some problems can occur.


example: ZipaBox Server Status: RED - currently major problems with server access. We are working on a solution, and will post updated information here.


All three with a link to where you can read and post information.

I think this would be a great idea.


A status page would save a lot of time.

Not always check if there is a problem on my side, open ticket, post to the forum..


Other competitors have this (also with automated email notification if there is a new problem) and I think this is realy great.

ps: Sorry when I sound frustrated but meanwhile I use more time to check

wrong status and delay problems than configuring the system to my needs.

Would be lovely, to have Zipato use https://www.statuspage.io as Vera and other cloud companies do...
