Need Answer

Hello,

I am testing a Stella radiator valve and i do not understand something... it seams like the valve is working backwards?

If the valve position is 99% the radiator is on (getting hot) and if the valve is 1% the radiator is getting cold...??

Is this a software issuwe?

Looks to me like this is normal behavior. 100% is valve full open, 0% closed.

Works for everything, light 100% is on 0% light is off.

I have 2 stella-z 's in my living room and they work nice. I took me some time to get things work, so i made a little manual (screenshots are with the old interface).

I already found you manual :)

i have the the following problem:

if i chance the set point to a lower temp than the read temp the valve is opening (50% and more) and if i chance the set point to head (>actual temp.) the valve is closing 0%

What thermostat mode do you use? I use the thermostat only in MANUAL_CONTROL

In this mode you can set the valve position manually through rules.

In this mode the valve SETPOINT_HEATING has no function anymore.

The modes for the valve are:

OFF, HEAT, ENERGY_SAVE_HEAT and MANUAL_CONTROL strings when setting the

THERMOSTAT_MODE. Same goes for the HEATING_ENDPOINT.

The thermostat modes on the StellaZ are just set point presets. For instance, setting

the mode to HEAT(Comfort on stella, default setting after inclusion) will just set the

set point to 22 degrees.
