I agree. The smart control is a very nice device. It would be great when you can support it!

+1 for me. I didn't knew there was an official Api for this. That make things more easy.

This is not for us users, right?

Thanks for your interest in the Harmony API.

The are currently working with the launch developers and plan to extend access to more developers soon.

Any news? Or other IR devices?

Is there any plan for this?

I have Logitech Harmony One

Can we get this functionality added?

what do you need? There exists support for the Remotec Z-wave ir extender and global itach flex. bluetooth is an important one to add and I am sure it will come soon.

Doesn't that Remotec only control AC equipment?

But Remotec "converts" Z-Wave to IR and not the other way around.

I solved it with a virtual device and my VU+ box and some CURL.

Pressing a button on my Harmony Elite sends a command to VU+ and the VU+ with the multiquickbutton plugin executes a CURL command which changes the value of the virtual device. And when the value is changing a rule is running on Zipabox.

It works, but the VU+ has to be turned on all the time and also the internet connection must be always on.

For controlling Harmony from Zipabox, I solved my needs with the new IFTTT Maker channel.

  • Zipabox rule sends an http request to IFTTT Maker channel.
  • IFTTT recipes for starting scenes, shutting down, etc. If Maker then Harmony...

At the moment IFTTT doesn't have any triggers for Harmony, so unfortunately it doesn't work the other way around.

I know this. But in my opinion this doesn´t really make sense for my use case. For this I can use the Harmony app.

Maybe Logitech is selling the Home Hub Extender also in Europe sometime.

I am almost shocked that Zipato have not implemented this after all the interest from users this have bin given?

But I also hope the Home Hub Extender will do som magic.

I'd love the ability to either turn on IR devices with a scene, or control lighting with my Harmony. I see there are Z-Wave to IR extenders, but they are all labeled for air conditioners.

Hope there will be support soon

it is one of the things i need to get working before i kick the other system out

Having the Harmony HUB supported would be really helpful right now. And full integration would be better, not just the activation of Harmony scenes but full control of devices, such as volume levels programs, channels, etc etc.

Logitech Harmony support would be great to control, tv, av , sat and other infrared devices

I really dont know how many more votes this needs!!!!!

It seems, there is no interest, becouse You can also use:

- ifttt

- conrad connect

- alexa

agreed. I would be nice to have it working in the rule creator, being able to trigger a Logitech scene would be great to configure an all in one button that doesn't rely on cloud services.
