Sync Problems = Router Problems?

hello,
i have real difficults to get my zipabox working right.
somehow the webinterface and the cloud and the sensors do not communicate right.
a) not all data is transmitted when I sync (f.e. keys tags: I had to do it 10 times to get 4 key tags included)
b) data gets lost when i sync again after including a new sensor
maybe the problem is with the router (?) / firewall?
(details: I live in the NL, internet by ziggo, router: Technicolor TC7210)
Can you help me?

I know right now they are making a lot of changes on the server due rebalancing and update so there are a lot of issues about accessibility, sync, boxes slow or rebooting. Give them a couple days or open a ticket on zipato support.

I was reading somewhere, that the router needs to be open TCP and UDP to communicate with the cloud. But I do not know what that means and how I can open it for several addresses..... Any ideas?
