Thermostat: it does not use the selected funtion

How to reproduce
- In the Thermostat, I selected two Thermometers and I select the function "Average".
Actual behavior
- On the thermostat, the temperature displayed is the last temperature sent by one of the thermometers.
Expected behavior
- I'd like to have the selected function, in my case the average of the temperatures
The same problem 
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
It is usefull because:
1- the thermometers are not really accurates (may be better when the zipabox will be compatible with the Oregon thermometers - do you know when?)
2- in a big room it coould be nice to have an average
