Turn off alarm or control ZipaBox when offline?

If I have the ZipaBox setup with rules and alarms and so on, everything is working... Offline!

And an alarm goes on, siren starts.... My wife and neigbours goes crazy!

How do I turn it off, if I cant control it from My phone.... Or how should I set it up???

Other scenarie:

I have a summer house... Like homeautomation have WIFI But no connection to Internet...

So what to do? Buy a Fibaro HC2 instead of this cloud-internet-dependent-ZipaBox?

You can use z-wave keypad currently, or you can wait Zipato to publish new mobile APP version with local connection support. Also, you can buy some embedded PC like you said, but you will spend so much money on electricity bill that you should rather pay for the Internet connection...

I saw there was some local and remote buttons on the iPhone App, is that it?

(I cant test yet don't have the box... Yet)

Also, can you give me some link to supported keypad.

When is the android app coming with the 'offline' functionality?

Also, I can't find a keypad worthy of the name - the zipato keypad (I bought and returned) is not fit for purpose, In my opinion.

Would it be possible to use a hidden toggle switch to arm/ disarm for if neighbours are coming in to feed the fish?

>> uuh it has an offline function. Just log-out then push the arrow below the login field and choose your box.

You could buy a switch and use this to turn off the alarm. Make sure that the quick-arm option is on. Then you can make a rule to control the alarm.
