update in module manager slow take minutes and sometimes half a hour

When I update a module in the module manager and synchronize again, it's waiting at least for a half hour when the setting actually is in place.
Is this normal such a delay ?
There are so many things to configure what if you have a lot of module's to set-up it's taking days before you can configure and find the ideal set-up.

Real-time notifications may not work
If you're talking about battery operated devices, could be normal because a battery device wakeup only every xx minutes... and controller receive data only when devices wakeup.
