URL for getting-setting values

I am trying to avoid using the old application but I still cannot find al the information I need in the new application. For example; I want to update the value of a virtual device. In the old application I can copy the url for doing this via the "Edit endpoing form". In the new application I cannot find this information. Am i looking in the wrong place?

Never mind. Found the answer. If you drill down in the device manager you will find the url.

It's OK for virtual meter. But I'm also searching for virtual switches. There should be a URL to set the virtual switch to On or Off ?

I was misled by the "http" in the name...

Why is it not possible to add this function ? Thus there is a simple switch which can be set either by the device browser or by an external application ?

Good to hear.

May I suggest you to give possibility to simulate monostable (push button) virtual switch ?

May be there is a workaround for that, but at the moment, I set a rule who detect the switching to On, do what must be done and reset the switch to Off. A push button would be more elegant.
