Views on widget
It could be nice to choose a view a widgets, like on gmail I can choose between condensed, normal....
It could be nice to have the same thing on widgets. For example on "Lights & Power", If I have only the icon to toggle the light, it is great :). I know it was not available at the beginning but it was a good & cheap idea that you implemented (thanks) to click on the icon to toggle a light. This view is enough for many of them, except roller shutter, dimmer... For them, it is possible to have a "mini" slider or another idea is to have a slider with few positions (0, 25, 50, 75, 100). The dimmer case has to be tested on an UI.
This would allow the user to have a view on more components at a time without using the scrollbar :).
Obviously the choices of the views should be stored as a personalized layout and be always opened by default.

I found an idea for roller shutter, it could be nice to slide on the icon from top to bottom or bottom to top and stop where I want.
For dimmer, it could be the same.
Another replacing solution is to use a wheel. It is easy to turn a wheel on a small icon. A wheel let the possibility to be precise :). I like this idea :) and can be applied to all the sliders :)

Yeah I though about the text, a small font would be possible but not enough in all case. A new field (you may hate this one) for "short name".
another idea (to test) because it may be horrible, is to have a background color by room or by component. So the user would be able to know which one is it + the short text...

Currently we think about some "favorite" widget in which you can drag and drop some of your devices. Also, you can create and rename more than one "favorite" widget
