Virtual Switch with Rules doesn't work
Solved
Hi,
I created a virtual switch and a rule to change FGS-221 state and it doesn't work. Nothing change what do on the virtual swtich. I synchronized rules and on the dashboard too.
Basically when I put off my virtual switch I want on my FGS-221 O1 and when I put ON my virtual switch I want to put OFF my FGS-221 O1
Tks,
Xavier

Hi,
It should work!
I created same rule for reversed On/Off on heating and it's work well
ON :
1. when sensor(virtual SW) = true
2. action(control(RealSWFGSFGS221) = off
in the screenshot 'unknown' correspond to the hiden device.

hello, I tried this but it doesn't work here. Could you be more precise? Behind "sensor" it is virtual SW, ok but this one appears both in "actuator" and "control", which one do I choose?
Concerning virtual SW, is it necessary to associate it to real switch ( using bindings)?

@xmeslin what is the real use of that rule?
@domoteek not working or not visible?
@Olivier Guihard when you are creating rules with virtual switch you need to put it in sensor puzzle as event trigger and when you toggle that switch on/off rule will be executed accordingly. And there is no need to bind it with a real switch.

@William
Yes it is what I did but nothing happen
@Olivier
Maybe you have same issue as I. support told me during the WE my box was running somehow a beta code and they will be upgraded over the WE.
I do not know what they did (or didn't) but it still doesn't work. Wait for reply.

To emphasize what Xavier said, this is a real issue for at least your French clients wanting to use the "fil pilote" ( pilot wire) which is supported by most of heating electric devices in France. Most of modern houses are pre-wired with this pilot wire, wich gives the possibility to control a group of heaters by a single order. In our case, wanting to use the climate widget, we need to provide an open circuit to start heaters, and a positive rectified current to stop heaters. Easy to do with a switch and a diod, but orders have to be inverted as "off" would be heat and "on" would be off.
Here is the case, thanks to help us! my firmware version is
0.9.96a
