What panic button do you recommend?

I have a aeon labs panic button, works well but if I move around so that different z-wave devices routes it won't work on the first or second button press. As I guess when I press the button it reroutes and next time if I go near another divice (or zipabox) it must reroute. How to solve this? Isn't a panic button just for security reason? Once it's pressed anywhere in the house it should alarm, in my case send an SMS. (that part works)

My Aeon panic button works as it should on my main system at my home. I run Indigo on a mac mini (OSX). I can go around the house and it reroutes as it should.
I'm doing this setup with zipato as you advertise, to be for security and elderly care. I'ts for my mother in law and it's important that the panic button works everywhere in the house.
