A few weeks ago, I remember Sebastian said something about a new dashboard was planned (maybe for v1?)!

Maybe it will integrate some of these upgrades :-)

Mostly we are on the same track here. I will add some comment on it during March. New UI will have most of the features mentioned. However, some of them won't be available at the beginning.

- I want to see if the zipabox is connected to the cloud and to the internet.

now when it is blinking green, you cannot trace what is wrong.

so a logging of the sytem would also be nice.

- Also I want to be able to read out the settings of the devices.

at the moment if you setup a different bit, you don't know if it is set correctly or not.

- see a logging when and why a device is/went offline.

- in rule creator see "live" what is happening in the rule.

What sort of price would you be looking at selling the wireless router module for?

You need to bear in mind that (in the UK, at least) all internet service providers offer a free wireless router when you take out their service.

I'm not in UK.

Since the device is heavily dependent on internet connection, and given the number of wireless devices for home automation growing, a good reliable device like this, can only be a good thing.

I can't discuss all the pros of having this module in the Zipa-arsenal because I have the feeling that this thread is about more realistic and achievable wishes, and not for long-shots like mine :)

Sorry I thought you were a zipato employee and this was a future module.

- a full integration with SONOS (possibility to use TTS with Sonos ?)

- Some kind of toolkit for scripting and sharing your own devices!

A connection with 'Find my friends' from Apple. In that way Iphone users are notifyd when they came home. This cannot be done by ping the phone because WIFI is disabled in sleep modus.

This can be done by the possibility to send an email to an emailadres from the Zipabox. When you can give words that has to be in the subject from the email to trigger an virtual swich, you can detect when your at home.

Unfortunately, UI project seems to be more demanding than we thought. We are still working on it. Hopefully, we will publish beta by the end of this month...

I own the Zipabox for more then a year now.

None of the given deadlines became reality

But I am still hoping that a new time will come........

Sorry being a little skeptical yesterday evening. After feeling a beta user for more then a year and looking everyday for version 1.00, I get flashbacks to 2013 were this was the standard answer and after that nothing happend for months. I truly hope this is not the case in 2014.

so, when will make the wish list 2015.

Or did we resign making wishes for Zipabox?
