Zipabox offline all time

Solved

Hi,

I just receive my zipabox, plug it on network, register it on the cloud and everything was fine, the box was online on the website. Just after that, i did a firmware update (0.9.986 => 0.9.997) : it took about 15 min but everything was still ok, the box was online on the website. 2 or 3 minutes later, a new firmware update was proposed by the website (0.9.997 => 0.9.998), i agreed with it and run it ! Unfortunately, i loose my internet connection during this update.

When it came back, i refreshed the website and the box was offline :

i tried to reset it many times with the reset button or by following the method explained in the quick install guide (removing plug, lan cable, wait 2 min, restart with button 2 pressed, briefly click the reset, ....) but no way to have it back online and it was 2 days ago.

But most of all, now, on the website, while my box is offline, a new firmware update is proposed :

0.9.987 => 0.9.998 ... i suppose it's a default proposal because the website is not able to retreive to current status of my box ...

Any solution for me ?

Thx.

Is the light off your router (network) lighting up? (to see if there is a network connection)

And what colour is the light on the zipabox?

The light is steady green on the zipabox => doing the method explained in the quick install guide does nothing : when i hold the button 2 while clicking on the reset, the green become "violet" and when release the rest, it come back to steady green, and stay like that after releasing the button 2 => never seen it blinking white

On the router-side, (ADSL Belgacom BBOX2) the PC1 led (related to PC1 network plug on it) is blinking briefly every 2 second ... i'can't see any trace of the mac address of the the zipabox in the dhcp log ... i think the box is no longer able to get a new ip from the router where the dhcp serveur is running :-(

Contact support again.

Are you using any firewall? And what provider do you use?

Zipabox has gone back to vendors ... according to Ziptato, my internet connection outage was fatal to the box because of during the firmware update.

Thx for your help anyway
