Zipabox [Rule Creator] Manual ?????
Need Answer
I've got zipabox and I quite satisfied with it. The only thing makes me crazy - total absence of detailed manual:
- That is virtual devices? Http Device? How can I use them? Examples?
- How to use http requests? What's the difference in using get\post\put and headers? Any examples?
- What is bindings? How can I use them? Examples?
- Weather Station. Does it really works? Examples??
Is it so hard to make a good manual (or just an bunch of online examples)? It takes too much time to dig the features. You've made a smart product, but without documentation it works at 30% ((

I agree, we should make a better tutorials as soon as possible. In the meanwhile, try this videos about http requests:

It will be wise to collect all tutorial in one place.. and make new ones!

We're still pretty much in the same situation, 2 years on. The YouTube tutorials use the old UI, so they're not much use now :-(

I think most of us have figured out how to do the basic stuff, and if not, there's help on the internet. It's the slightly more complicated stuff that's really hard, what Vadim was talking about. A couple of examples (screenshots, even!) would go a long, long way. If the forum were more active, it would be a great place to find information, but unfortunately it's not.

I'm a new user in home automation and bought a Zipatile. Man I would like a beginners guide, for simple questions like Vadim is asking for. Why is there any short guide for exactly his questions?
For example Vera products has a great basic guide for their Scenes tool. Why not for Zipato?

Hi Finn. I would advise you to firstly read and train through the knowledge base. After that if you have questions on specific things, just ask.
The knowledge base contain so many information's, that is nothing but useful especially for beginners and even advanced people will find new things there.
One finished with the knowledge base, go to youtube and watch all ZIPATOTV videos.
Once you have done all the above and even did some tests, you will be advanced user - this takes time for sure.
