Zipatile and virtual module http request

Benjamin Knockaert shared this idea 8 years ago
Under Consideration

Hello, I just got the Zipatile. A little disappointed with my first test but then we'll see ...

I can not find how to make an http request with a virtual module if someone just tell me what to do.

Is it possible to export the sensor data with http request?

Make a rule and use the http request puzzle.

Well in order to do simple request you have to pay $ 100 on a product that is 350 !! Or $ 450 to be able to do what a basic box and yet it is only for 1 year! One can still abused. I really expected a finished product at this price but the box is not even at the height of a single jeedom.

What kind of problems do you have then? and have you contacted support about this?

We are sorry for you disappointment with Zipatile.

Obviously you have an issue with reading the documentation since it is written everywhere that PRO license is valid forever and not for one year only.

Additionally, exporting sensor data doesn't require PRO license as you can use our REST API which is available online. However, using API is not recommended for basic users, so this is why HeroS suggested you easier solution.

I would recommend to write it in the datasheet of the products that there can be extra costs for extra features and complaining will stop immediately.

I Guess the question is: how to create a http request.

Not all Users want to stick into deep programming.

Perhaps it would help to post a little example or tutorial. how should the syntax should look like. There are some examples here but they dont show the http request just the finished result in the rule create.
