Zipatile - different model numbers?

Sorry for this newbie question. My second ZipaTile just arrived and I noticed that it's model version 1.1 whereas my other ZipaTile is 1.3. I didn't realize there were multiple model numbers!
Would anyone please share what the differences are between these different models?

I think that the power connector is not the same.
But the most important that I have seen (I had the 1.1, but it crash so now, I have the 1.4) is the performance.
With the old one, I need the support to optimise the application as it freeze a lot.
