Adding Philips hue bridge
Solved
I am trying to add my Philips Hue Bridge to the Zipatile but I get an error. I already restarted the bridge several times and also reset it. But the error remains. It says Configuration failed, no devices found. The ID of my bridge is: 330-84-209. I read in a post that you might be able to help with this information. Is this true?

Hello Dave,
Which bridge version do you have, the round one or the squared one?
I see that the bridge hasn't got the descriptor applied but it was added successfully, this was most likely due to the fact your Internal network on Zipatile was labeled as NoName.
We have resolved that issue now, can you please reboot the Zipatile and try to add the bridge again?

Vedran

Hello,
The issue is solved! A factory reset of the bridge has now solved it!

Hi, I fail since some months now to add the bridge again (it worked before). I performed a factory reset on the bridge and now even my switches don’t work anymore.
Dear Zipato-Team, please solve this rather sooner than later! This is just such a central part of my home automation system that needs to work.
Frank

Hello,
When you say “bridge”, are you referring to the Z-Wave or Zigbee bridge used with the Zipatile?

The error suggests Zipatile can't detect your Hue Bridge ensure both are on the same network and UPnP is enabled. For Bridge ID issues, Zipato support may assist manually.

To resolve the error "Configuration failed, no devices found" when trying to add your Philips Hue Bridge (ID: 330-84-209) to the Zipatile, start by ensuring that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. It’s also important to check for any available firmware updates for both the Philips Hue Bridge and the Zipatile, as keeping them updated can resolve compatibility issues. If the problem persists, reboot both devices to refresh their connections. Additionally, consider resetting the network settings on the Zipatile and attempting to add the bridge again. Lastly, verify that the Zipatile is compatible with your specific Philips Hue Bridge model. If these steps do not resolve the issue, consulting the user manuals or contacting customer support for both devices may provide further assistance.
