Complex rule, seems not to work (Armed alarm and opening a port)

Need Answer

I am testing it with the door sensor but also replaced it with a virtual switch..

The repeat sequence starts, but when I disable the alarm (so the virtual switch goes off) the second if is not working..

Any thoughts?

I think your rule is fine with the refreshall.

The rule is only triggert when it is ON...so the else is not triggert.

That's why you need the ANY (ON or OFF).

I think the indoor alarm would be the best, it will automatically sound every time you arm/disarm the system if configured in the security partition. It can also be loud so you can use it as a conventional alarm system siren also.
