Arming zipatile for multiple users
Hello,
Recently received my Zipatile and has worked through quite a few obstacles successfully.
I have Sonos, Hue and Nest all working as expected and am starting to experiment with some custom rules (the wife hates the fact that all doors now sounds like star trek! )
I don't have an RFID keypad and am planning to use the ZipaTile to allow users to enter a code to arm/disarm.
This works for my account but I can't figure out how to enable it for the others.
I've found this thread: https://community.zipato.com/topic/arming-of-the-alarm-partition-xxx-failed-for-username-usersurname which includes a screenshot of a screen I cannot find! (Security partitions tab -> Users)
Can someone tell me where I can find these options? or should I be searching for something completely different?
I'm running on firmware 1.0.18a
Thanks in advance,
James
Hi James,
Indeed that is a very hidden menu, see the following screenshots to get to it...
1. Go to Alarm on Device Browser
2. Go to settings (gearbox icon)
3. Click on "Users" Tab
4. Click on the name of the user (other than the master).

Alberto,
Thanks for the click path! I'll try it out and let you know if it resolves my issue.
Appreciate the help

I've found the menu (thanks) but the issue is not resolved. Still think I'm missing something obvious.
Added all the user rights by following this tutorial. https://community.zipato.com/knowledge-base/article/administrate-member-security-privilege_1 basically the same as mentioned by Alberto above.
However my new user cannot arm or disarm from the Zipatile (it works from the control center webUI)
Whenever it is tried on the Ziptile the security event log gives me the following message: Error - session expired
I've not found any info on this. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do or how I can debug any further?

you need to use the PIN code for the user that is logged in on your Zipato App running on the Zipatile (yes, the Zipatile is just another PAD where you have the Zipato App running).
My recommendation would be that you create a common member user for all of your family members and set a common password. This is the only way If you want to arm/disarm with a PIN directly on the Zipatile.
Another approach is to have each of your family members achieve this on his/her mobile phone.
Hope this helps

Exatly. Whoever is logged in to zipatile is the only pin that can be used. I havent tested iwth with a common user just know that it only accepts the master user for me as I have set up zipatile.
This is perfectly normal behaviour.
