Can I see my remote as a sensor?

I have read that you could see sensors and the input from them. How do I do that?

I want to see when I press a button on the remote, when Zipabox receives the signal!

Hello Jacob,

In sensor window you are refering to in first picture you are able to see sensors you have added (included) which are detecting (movemement, smoke, flood etc. ) and mesuring (temperature, humidity, wind strenght etc.).

If you want to you can create virtual sensor and manipulate with it through the Rule creator to turn on for a few seconds when you press buttons on your nexa neyct-705.

Create a virtual switch and a rule which is executed when the remote button is pressed. In this rule you can then put the virtual switch into the ON position, wait some seconds and put it into the OFF position again. As result a press onto the remote button will show the change of the virtual switch in the Zipabox App and Website. Take a look at my rule examples to find out more.
