Answered
Is the Zigbee optional moduble compatible with Legrand Celiane Zigbee modules ?
If yes is it compatible with wired module only or radio module as well ?
Thanks

Legrand is using Zigbee PRO private profile, which means their Zigbee devices are not inter-operable with other Zigbee devices.

Do you forecast to improve the module or another one in order to support them?

hi, can this fetures be improved if we consider that they use public command withh their objetcs (using openwebnet protocol)
i mean, if I know the command to send to an object is it possible to use it in zipabox ?

hello, is it posible to develop a custom protocol openwebnet that can be used with the box ?
so i could choose zipabox instead of razberry + legrand dongle + openremote ?
Thanks

@Sebastian Popovic:
It is true that Legrand/Bticino uses a private protocol known as "MyHome" --actually two protocols, one wired called "MyHome Bus" (BUS/SCS) and the other wireless called "MyHome Play" (Radio/ZigBee). On the latter, they indeed use a proprietary implementation of ZigBee.
But both can interact with other home automation systems through IP with the protocol OpenWebNet, which exists since 15 years:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenWebNet
(please follow the various links at the bottom of the wikipedia page)
For example, MyHome BUS can talk through the OpenWebNet protocol with the appropriate wired gateway (Bticino F455); while MyHome Play can do the same wirelessly with the USB gateway dongle connected to a Windows or Linux box (Legrand 088328 or Bticino BTI-3578).
MyOmBox managed to make a Raspbberry Pi system using OpenWebNet perfectly. Sadly they only propose to control Legrand switches. Your Zipabox is so much better with its modular components and extensibility!
So please reconsider making a compatibility layer for OpenWebNet using the gateways I linked to, which would open the way for Zipato to the very large market using Legrand/Bticino/Arnould solutions.
