How cumulative consumption can go up and down?

I think, that cumulative can be only increasing number, until it will get reset.

Just maybe your device is reporting a wrong consumption?

Indeed, but how i can check it? In there, i have 2 Aeon switches, the second one won't report cumulative at all, is has been always zero. Both have very small load. And consumption is meaningless, but curiosity won.

Here, at home, i have one similar switch, and its cumulative is steady raising. But load is lot more.

I too have the same issue. CUMULATIVE_CONSUMPTION is going up and down, and the CURRENT_CONSUMPTION never shows.

Mine is Zipato double switch with metering

After last firmware update my only one correctly functioned Aeon smart switch lost its capability to show cumulative consumption steady raising, as it should be. Now it is bouncing up and down between zero and something, which is about 5 times more, than real.

Now i see. Its because Zipabox shows current consumption as cumulative consumption. Thats why.

Yes, seems like the two values are swapped!
