How do i connect wifi devices to zipato?

I have a 3 gang wifi switch that does not have zigbee or zwave or any protocols. it just connects to the wifi. i want to use this type of switches because it does not need neutral wire to work. just replace regular 1 line plus return mechanical switch and it will work!

how do i add this device to zipato?

is it possible to connect other wifi devices also like wifi smart plug or wifi smart light?

you need your switches to have an api or list of http commands that it uses. Then create a virtual switch within Zipato and use the rule creator to send http requests.

the switch can be remote controlled by a small device, i can't find IR on the remote (pic attached) so it's possibly an RF device? it's cheap also. it can be linked to IR IF braodlink (device link below), then it should be able to be linked to zipatile directly?

This will never work. There is no WiFi switch wothout N wire either. It is technologically impossible due to too high current inrush.

These are standard RF switches and they will never work as they should.

my "remote switch" does no need a Netural wire. it works with all lights 9watts and above. The switch might not be actually wifi but only RF?

how do i connect this to ziptatile or zipamicro? maybe with the use of some other RF controller like broadlink i mentioned above?

or maybe thru IR or RF blaster? direct to the switch or thru the remote i posted earlier

@ITC Corp you need to find the specifics of your switch first. Also, I recommend you research the product you are thinking of purchasing with compatibility with your Hub BEFORE purchase.

Now, the fact your switch connects to the Broadlink Pro Hub, it either uses a 433mhz or IR control. If it operated without line of sight to the Hub, then its probably 433. And no, neither work directly with a Zipatile or Zipamicro. The Zipabox has a 433mhz expansion module, but does not possess the self learn capabilities like the Broadlink device which I think you would need

You can try a Global Cache device to issue IR commands. Or add z-wave modules to your switch outputs.

Overall, learn the products you buy before purchasing, and you can always ask here for information on compatibility.
