Has anyone tried to include this remote control from Ikea ?
I believe so, do a search on the forum.
I bought one and tried it but was not able pair it with the Zipabox :-(
Kenth, if it ever works, with Zipabox you need to have Zigbee extension module?
Yes, I have one.
we have succesfully paired the Ikea Tradfri remote with zipato but no button actions are recognized. Any advice from anyone?
I've tried to connect repeatedly, it does not work.
I read somewhere about that Zipato knows this problem and corrects.
I hope the solution will be found)), I have several Ikea buttons.
Does this Ikea Trådfri remote works now?
Has anyone been able to get a Tradfri remote to work with Zipato? Support took a crack at it a while ago, but it's never worked for me. I'd just like to know if someone has been able to get it working before I bother to try again.
I think that does not work(
Just tried to add the remote again to see what happens.
Meanwhile Zipato seems to have improved the recognition. (see attached image.)
ALl the events are there in the rule editor, but presing any of the buttons on the remote does not seem to have any effect.
Can anyone from Zipato comment on the progress you are making with these remotes? Is there anything I can provied to help?
It would be really nice to have this working.
would love this to be fixed!
I had ticket open about a month ago. Here is the answer from Zipato team
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide full support for Ikea remote, because it is using non-standard ZigBee commands.
Thank you for your understanding.
There is a new version (304.431.24) of the Tradfri remote - the part number has changed from the original (303.388.49) and it is showing as "New" on the IKEA website.
Has anyone tried one of the new ones yet? I might pop over to Ikea tomorrow and get one.
Have anyone in this topic tried the new dimmer button from IKEA?
I assume there is a big risk this is also not using "standard Zigbee" and therefore not supported!?
Is that Zigbee for that price? I can not find it in the product specs.
Hi John! Yes it's Zigbee for about €6. Would be nice if that was useful for us, I think! I'll submit a ticket and see what responce I get.
Well, in that case I hope they used the same firmware as in their powerplugs. Although these were for on/off purposes only they adverised (in Zigbee) these plugs as being dimmers. Months ago Zipato ask me to test these. In a first attemp they were included as dimmers. In a second attemp the dim-function was removed (because it was not functional). So keep your fingers crossed. Btw: no money for a dimmer.
