IPhone local rejects username and password

Remote works fine but local rejects username and password.
Are there any extra steps to enable local access?

Yes i saw that.. nevertheless i have the same issue.
I'm using iOS 7.
I select Local on the app and the local name changes to Scan.
Below the Scan I see my local zipabox, when clicking on it, I get the username and password fields.
I enter the same username and password that I use in remote mode and click on Connect.
It says connecting for 2-3 seconds and then it says " Username or password is wrong"

I remember that a few months ago I did experience this same issue.
At the time I noticed that the login is not case sensitive in remote mode whereas it is in local mode. I put everything in lower case and then it was OK for both local and remote auth.
Did you check that the login field does not start with a upper case letter?

I can't login from android as well. Tried with all lower case as well but does not work
