Odd behavior of virtual devices / App related?

Solved

Hi Guys,

on my iOS myZipato-app, I do notice a quite odd behavior. When I change the value of a device, the device jumps back to the old value (which was set before) and some seconds later, it jumps again back to the desired new value.

This happens with several devices. I can change the set temperature of a virtual thermostat (e.g. from 20° to 22°), so it switches back to 20 and then again up to 22. Then it stays at 22°.

Or I change the attribute from a virtual switch (from OFF to ON). Then it switches back to OFF and some seconds later again to ON). Then it stays ON.

This happens not every time, but quite often (4 out of 5 times). The other time it directly stays at the new value.

Is this "extra step" (but surely not necessary step) related to the iOS app? I haven't noticed this behavior in the WebUI. Have you guys also notices this? Does this also happens with the Android app?

I have the same issue on virtual switches.

When changing state on the switch, many times the state is reverted back.

It's only on iOS i have this problem.

It occurs in both zipato and ImperiHome app

You are right. The Imperihome App also shows this behavior.

This should be fixed in My Zipato 2.2 that is currently waiting for App Store Review. Some more info here.
