I have an extra 8Ohm alarm speaker that I want to connect to the security module. Can I use PGM(AUX+ configuration) for this and connect the spekaker negative pole to COM??

Thanks

Hi Martin,

A speaker with only 8 Ohm resistance will exceed AUX+ power budget, please choose another siren.

You can use external power supply to power the siren and a NC contact of a 12 volt relay between bell+ and bell- that cut's off the trip line.

Or if you have battery connected you could consider following sollution:

ALErlMsM92Fbsth7T8l8

depending on what type of siren you have.

Thanks! I did some research and suspect it is not a siren but just an extension speaker and that the old alarm could send a siren tone. The other siren I have is a Securitas SEC 01 and it use max 30mA current.

However, I have a lead battery connected and also a spare external double relay so I might use the circuit you proposed if needed to connect two sirens.
