Virtual weather station

Hi,

I had the same problem. However support gave me a workaround:

1. Add the virtual weatherstation;

2. Re-apply the device descriptor (go to active devices; select virtual weather station, there you see a button to do this);

3. Do a refresh of your screen. If all goes well: you see 2 endpoints (weather and 1-day forecast). The other endpoints are hidden;

Still 0 Values. Maybe needs time. Talking about Strumica, Macedonia. Looks updated though with some new parameters.

If you still have 0 Values Try to do the following:

1. Go to http://www.wunderground.com. This is the service zipato is using.

2. Type in your city (in the search box). Check for the response.

3. Otherwise try another (big) city in your vincinity.

4. Btw: you can check on this website which real weatherstation is used.

Sorry i forgot this:

There is still a bug in it. You can not select any endpoints in rules. This is solved in a next release.

When I added the virtual weatherstation and re-apply the device descriptors the values are updated within a few minutes.

However there is a problem with the api of the service:

I am living in a small town in Holland and when i use this town the service gives me no values (even though i can select the town from a popup). However when i selected a big town close to me then there are no problems.

Nope. Skopje, Macedonia is also not updated. The site sayes, "Updated 32 sec ago"

It worked when I waited a day.

But when I click meters on the adroid app when the virtual weather station is there the app crashes.

I do not have the same data On My dashboard the On the Weather HomePage.

Why is it not geting updated?

I can also see that the initial weather value for "I" (sunset)is initially 0.00 but if I change to "II" and then back I can see the sunset time.

But still not accurate...

Same problem and also issues with the iPad/iPhone app - no values at all...

I'm trying to add a couple of places. The place/town shows up (after a couple of attempts) but not the other stations? Isn't stations supported?

After some time it showed up right and works. I think the first update from the server where wrong.

The virtual weather station seems not to work with the codes from Wunderground I...

You ought to enter the name of the city and hope that it is the correct one otherwise you need to search for the nearest city.
