Yes, that's right. Until now Zipato / Zigbee does not allow Xiaomi devices to join properly. That's because Xiaomi uses an own Zigbee protocol, not the "official" Zigbee protocol.

Until now Zipato never has given an official reaction on requests to support this "protocol". You can submit a ticket and see what happens.

There is a solution to workt with Xiaomi and that's given somewhere here on this forum. It involves a raspberry board and Openhab/etc with MQTT communication.
