Hi Peter,
We are glad to hear that you are exploring more complex capabilities of Zipabox.
If we understood your question correctly, following information should be helpful to you.
If you want to send data to box from any app:
- Connect to Zipabox with WEB UI, go to Device manager-> Add device -> Virtual device -> create Virtual meter
- In same Device Manager window, under Virtual network, find newly added virtual meter and click on it to expand view untill you get multiple "No name" fields.
- Press cog icon next to first "No name" field and in new "page" notice URL field. That URL field contains address that you have to enter to your application on telephone for it to send specific data to Zipabox and data will be stored in that location for you to play with it in rules.

Vedran, the push message type, how does it work? I have not noticed it until now.
I am currently using Pushover (3. party) and HTTP request. Will the push message type notify my Zipato app (Android)?

Hi Marius,
Yes, push will notify your Zipato application. It even can contact Zipato applications on smartphones of other users but ONLY after you allow it on your Zipabox. For example on some specific triggers you would want PUSH to send message only to specific user and to do so you have to define that user in Users list on the left of WEB UI.
If you look at that image Lars sent, just select push in first field and in second drop down menu you will find all users that were created and select one that will recieve that push message. Other fields are subject and message body.
Try it for a while and let us know if it suits you needs or if you have suggestion how to improve it.
Best regards,
Zipato team
